How could I forget them?! Gobby and Doc Ock are pretty much my favorite Marvel villains, while I love Sabretooth and Shocker! There's also a few other like Mysterio (He needs to be the villain of The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Pyro, Super-Skrull, Kang the Conquerer, the Frightful Four, Baron Zemo, etc. THERE'S JUST TOO MANY TO NAME! awesome

Totally. I mean, who can't love this guy?

There should be a battle between tony Stark and Bruce Wayne, the battle of the egotistical, conceited, and playboy billionaires. And I don't mean Iron Man vs. Batman, I mean Tony Stark vs. Bruce Wayne without the masks. That will truly be an awe-inspiring day for the super-hero community. XD

Lionsgate Studios was going to make a sequel, but then they canceled it and it was long enough from the past Punisher movie for the contract to expire and Marvel getting he movie rights again. Either way, we can only hope Punisher will be back in the spotlight sometime soon. As awesome as the upcoming Marvel sequels are and I am hyped for Avengers 2, I feel that Marvel should just take their time and maybe delay Avengers 2 longer so we could get more original movies into the Marvel Cinematic universe instead of just rushing towards the next big team-up. For example, a Punisher and/or Blade reboot, a Doctor Strange movie, a Black Panther movie, Heroes for Hire, etc. The only new ones that are being worked on are Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, which personally excites me, but makes me not as hyped as I should be.

Update on the Iron Man movie.

Seems like they're making War Machine into the Iron Patriot...0.o

Also here's there live action suits

I think they look pretty cool, apparently the plot for Iron Man 3 is based off the "Extremesis" plot and that's why the new Iron Man suit got a color change. Personally I kinda like it and I can't wait to see how they do the whole suit, skin and brain thing Tony did in the comics! Not to sure on War Machine becoming the Iron Patriot though but I understand they can't use Osborn cause of Sony...=/

Yeah, pretty much knew all of that for weeks lol.

But yeah, Rhodey's only borrowing Norman's armor though. He's not gonna go all Dark Siege and make the Dark Avengers or anything like that. The only reason he's even wearing it is apparently because he'll fight strictly for the government/army, which is bound to bring some tension between him and Tony due to the latter's testimony of "I do not make weapons that will be used in the wrong hands" or something like that lol.

Also, here's the synopsis for Thor: the Dark World (Or you can call it Thor 2 if you want).

Official synopsis for 'Thor: The Dark World'

With the next wave of Marvel movies underway, we've had nothing but images, rumors and casting decisions guiding us on where The Avengers are going in their solo movies. Now, we're starting to get concrete information on what the movies' plots will be. Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures have released the official synopsis for Thor: The Dark World, and it sounds like it'll continue to build on the success of The Avengers.

Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and Marvel’s The Avengers, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos… but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book Journey into Mystery #83 in August, 1962.

Thor: The Dark World is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
The ancient race mentioned will be the Dark Elves that have previously been rumored. And is it possible that we'll get to see a bit of each of the Nine Realms? Regardless of whether we get to see them or not, we'll at least learn more about them. It feels like this sequel will dive more into the Marvel mythology with Thor.

Like the press release says, Thor: The Dark World is scheduled for release on November 8, 2013.

If you do not know who Makelith is and dare call yourself a Thor comic fan, then please hand in your registration card and information for the fan-base immediately.

Malekith is actually a pretty decent and awesome villain and worked with look in his first appearance, so that can probably give you a good idea of Loki's new role in the movie. But it does seem a bit lackluster on the physical side that it's just this scrawny Dark Elf though, so I'm hoping we'll also have one of Thor's more powerful enemies who actually worked with Malekith. KURSE. And yes, Kurse is also a Dark Elf (The strongest one in fact), so his chances are even more likely.

Do you like the suits though Count?

About Thor 2, Loki set the bar pretty high in both Thor and The Avengers for a Thor Villain.

For some reason I don't see Thor 2 doing as well as Thor 1 but I really hope I'm wrong haha.

Re: General Comics and Related media discussion.

Eh, I can see Thor 2 having decent chances of being better than Thor 1. Mainly since it'll have a bigger focus on the mythical side of Thor unlike how Thor 1 made Thor have to spend most of his time on Earth and all that stuff. Not to mention that we'll have a bigger focus on the mythical world of Marvel with more races and villains like the Dark Elves and Malekith. What would be an extra plus though is if we get to see more of Odin's true power because that's one thing I've been dying to see in a 3D cinematic. (Just to give you an idea of what he's capable of, his steps could literally give birth to stars and even galaxies lol). That's just my thoughts. I've always been a big fan of the mythical/cosmic side of Marvel, so that's one of the reasons why I'm so hyped for The Dark World. Wink

I'm more worried about Iron Man 3 though. While I could definitely see it doing better than Iron Man 2, I'm still hesitant about it beating 1. It all depends on how well they integrate the Mandarin and the Extremis plot, which will pretty much either be a hit or miss in my perspective. I'll take the benefit of the doubt though and have faith in the almighty Robert Downey Jr. though. :D

About the costumes though, I personally love the Iron Patriot armor. I still have a few gripes about Marvel's choice to use it, but we're honestly never going to have a chance to see Norman being an Avengers villain, so I'll deal with this. But about Tony's armor, I just don't like the colors. There is just way too much gold on that suit. I really think they should've gone with the new Marvel NOW armor, AKA, the black and gold with red lights attire. Besides that, i certainly admire the build and detail in the costume though. I guess it's just one of those things you'll have to get used to. But if I had to pick it myself, I'd say either the Marvel NOW version, Silver Centurion (The one with silver and maroon that was seen for a bit in Iron Man 2. That really should've gotten more screen time if you ask me.), or the Bleeding Edge armor.

Armors I mentioned:
Spoiler:
Bleeding Edge:

Silver Centurion:

Marvel NOW!:

lol, Sorry for the long post, I tend to do that. Hope it isn't too much of a read. awesome

About Thor 2 you could be right haha.

In Robert Downey Jr we trust! xD

Yeah I'd love the new Iron Man suit from the comics but if we couldn't than the Blade Edge suit would be perfect!
