Yes, but it doesn't show up for anybody else except the person who posts it. I can't see yours, for example.

You can't use the google images link, use the actual link where the image is from or it won't work.

Like that. =)

Slayer, I initially used the actual link. Then I just linked the Google Images link so that it would hopefully just bring it up.

The point was that it was two Bellsprouts humping.

Played it already. Ash was so appropriate for the ring leader. At first I thought he was the Train Bosses though.
But anyways, yeah. I wasn't kinda phased by it but, it's still kinda fucked up.

I just love how they screwed up its accuracy. "Ash, why do you keep me in a Pokeball so much and never let me out?" lolwat, Pikachu bitchslapped Ash last time he tried using a Pokeball on him.

Considering every single pokemon is being abused by every single trainer including Drunk Cheren and Mad Professor Juniper, I'm assuming it's not supposed to be accurate. Lol

You know, I don't mean to be that guy or anything, but if you think about it... Pokemon is essentially just national cock fighting with gambling involved. You forcibly capture Pokemon from the wilderness, train them endlessly for your own selfish purposes and not caring about what they actually want because I doubt they would realistically want their life to just be filled with battles. Not to mention children ten-years and older betting money on each battle and receiving prizes and even becoming role models after winning the championship.

Wow, I think typing this just totally killed part of the fondness I can remember from my childhood lol. Man, the things Nintendo games could somehow get away with.

I like Pokémon, but not as much as it used to be.. I don't know, but the older games looked more fun en difficult.. The new ones are cool to, but I never really wanted to play them after beating them.. With the old ones, I always beat the game and then new game with a new team :P

REVIVAL.

Tomorrow at 11am gmt its more than likely Gen 6 pokemon is getting announced. a special nintendo direct called pokemon direct is on its way at that time. alls we know so far is a new eeveelution is more or less in (Even hype all over lately in the tgc anime and now they posted trivia on their twitter about eeveelutions) So my question is........how will it be changed up?

(It won't be R/S/E remakes. this is too much hubub. hell gen v in its entirity was announce on pokemon smash. this is very big news.)

oh if you need any more confirmation that this is huge not only is this announcement worldwide (I.E not japan only) but its being hosted by Satoru Iwata which for the unanointed is nintys president. this is not game feak only. this iis huge!

So what you're saying is that they're going to finally just get the uber-fantastic-every-region game? Because if not, I don't care. They've already said they're running out of ideas for Pokemon (as if BW1 didn't show that already), and BW1 was the most controversial game in the series as-is. They better impress with whatever's coming up.

Dp bw1 is the most acclaimed in the franchise. Anyone who mocks designs has nostalgia goggles on.

Anyway no one knows there has never been this much build up. Maybe over a larger time period but we got lotsa stuff in 4 days. No solid info for about 210.5 hours

Funny, because last I checked it was still the cause of many a forum flamewar. I wouldn't say that means it's the most acclaimed. Also, blaming any negativity against it on nostalgia is childish. The only improvement BW1 had on the series was that it had a good story to it (something only really Platinum came close to having before it). Otherwise every change was hotly debated, to the point that they needed to make BW2 just to "fix" the problems to those that absolutely despised it. BW2 DID do just that, though, so the BW subseries as a whole definitely accomplished a lot in terms of innovation (since BW2 effectively patched the problems of the first, and added a few nice things as well).

Re: Pokemon games (Current discussion: X and Y)

Post by Count Mario on Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:53 pm

Honestly, I agree with Nefarious (I'm calling you that from now on Ipool, whether you like it or not) about the whole B/W controversy. I personally loved the designs (Especially the legendaries) and I felt B/W was one of the best recent takes on the franchise. Although I don't ever remember them saying that they're running out of ideas for Pokemon, I really don't. And the many forum flame wars I've seen have mainly rotated around nostalgia, hate for the new Pokemon designs consisting of only opinions, the standard "Oh, Nintendo's running out of Pokemon!" chant, or they just don't like the original stuff put in. Honestly, with the Black and White series, you either love it or you hate it, it's really all that simple compared to the other generations. Sorry, but those are my thoughts.

However, I disagree that it'll be the sixth generation because it is way too soon for that. They just got finished with developing their first full on generation sequel and they've barely released any spin-offs with the Gen V Pokemon yet. In fact, every generation to date has had a period of at least four years before releases and we aren't three years through the fifth generation.

So really, I have three theories. One, it'll be a new console Pokemon game akin to XD or Battle Revolution. Two, it WILL be Ruby and Sapphire remakes (Or even an Emerald remake considering how they have four main games in a generation and they might want to tone down on the multiple versions or go in a change of direction like they have with the fit generation so far). And let's be honest, I've investigated hints for Gen III remakes and I've found TONS spanning all the way from HeartGold and SoulSilver. The only reason it's probably taking so long is because it's being developed exclusively for the 3DS and might even be in 3D instead of normal sprites. However, my third theory is that this is GameFreak trolling us and just announcing some minor spin-off that everybody could care less about (At least within the time it's announced). I'm siding with the last one the most because GameFreak has a special reputation for over-hyping announcements like this.
