http://www.techtimes.com/articles/15537/20140913/new-pokemon-demo-confirmed-nintendo-allows-players-transfer-items-full-game.htm

So the ORAS demo will carry over items and Pokemon into the main game. That's...actually a smart way to drive sales. Demos almost always hurt more than help a game's sales, but giving a bonus incentive for those demo players will encourage more people pick it up.

Also, in potentially horrible news, there may be an exclusively Pokemon handheld soon. From the trademark filing, there's an image of a device that uses NFC to portray Pokemon on the screen, with only an A and B button (flipped from the 3DS's positions, hinting at it being entirely new). Essentially a Pokemon Rumble console. I fear the worst on that one...

Wait. A handheld... made JUST for pokemon? Why the heck would they do that? Wouldn't they just develop for the N3WDS? (New 3DS. My way is the fun way to say it. Just like HDS instead of Wii U)

Bravely Default's demo did that. It even had it's own story specifically for the demo. I thought that was pretty awesome. What kills it though is the playtime limit. You can only open a file so many times before the 3DS is like "NOPE". :S

The playtime limit makes sense; that way people don't just mooch the demo until they get their fix (like I did with the Dungeon Defenders demo lol).

The PokeDS is probably a cheapish $50 portal for kids, to replace the 2DS or something. Or it's just a patent concept. Either or.

Ehhhhhhhhh. But I need the Smash Bros demo to hold me over until it releases. Or I could just reverse what I did when waiting for PSABR and play that until Smash comes out. xD

And eh. I. I just hope it doesn't get any good exclusive games or I'll be upset. I don't need a pokemon only console. x.x

I'd doubt it's anything beyond a Game & Watch (meaning a one game toy) with Pokemon Rumble.

Kyogre and Groudon's abilities are out, as are their Sig moves. Their abilities are Primordial Sea and Desolate Land, which produce Strong Rain/Sun. The weather is permanent so long as Primal Kyogre/Groudon is on the field and blocks Fire/Water attacks (with the boost from the Drizzle/Drought version s still in tact presumably) also the weather can't be changed.

Their moves are Origin Pulse and Precipice Blades. We don't know much bar the fact that they hit multiple foes. We can assume 100 power Water/Ground typeing (So not to be outclassed by Surf/EQ).

The irony that the Ground/Fire Primal Groudon shuts down all Kyogre if Strong Sun is up is not lost on me. I'm curious to as how the abilities interact, but we may well have a speed war to get your weather up first.

Mewtwo Y isn't that good, despite its ungodly Special ATK. Mainly cause it takes up a Mega Slot when LO mewtwo has similar damage. Mewtwo X is bulkier with Mewtwos normal power (just cause it has that ungodly ATK doesn't mean you gotta use it.) And its Speed. (it's 10 slower than Y, but nothing falls in that tier. Mewtwo is quick.) X is better.

Groudon is OP. It removes its water weakness, it's only weak to Ground, a traditionally physical type, and its naturally physically bulky. It's a perfect Kyogre counter.

Kyogre is just last gens Kyogre with a Fire immunity but without the support. That's good but it becomes useless if primal Groudon is already out or if Groudon wins the speed tie to primal Devolve. If Primal Groudon is out Kyogre of all forms are dead weight.

This means it's the Beginning of the reign of the new uber gods. ALL HAIL GROUDON. ALL HAIL HO-OH!

Did we ever get confirmation that the Primals don't add a second type? Because if Primal Groudon doesn't have a Fire type then he's absolutely unbeatable by Kyogre. Even if he does he's still winning, but at least it'd LOOK like they cared to try balancing lol

We knew Groudon was Ground/Fire a LONG time ago.

Just read on the site, only Extreme Weather effects can cancel each other out. Meaning Slow is good for these two.

In this new Sun, the best any Kyogre can do is Ice Beam. This makes Specs Ogre completely not viable, just cause this new Groudon exists. However in the rain, Groudon can still EQ/Precipice Blades (although it will die to any water move) . Although they are more balanced than I first thought, Groudon still has the advantage by a decent margin.
