No, I listened, but that doesn't mean I wasn't not gonna post a counter-point.

Well we're talking the number one distributor in the world here. Anyway, yeah, it's aboit as much a death sentence as Titanfall's launch was for the One.

I find that hilarious. Though we know people are gonna bitch now because it's Nintendo doing DLC - y'know, exactly what everyone wanted.

Their marketing efforts have been incredibly laudable since January. They're on a NASCAR car in the US, they have a real life Mario Kart on sale, they still own the Seattle Mariners, that commercial, their discussions with LEGO about branded sets, the Zelda and Pokemon Monopoly games, etc. They're for the first time in years seriously working on themselves, and I for one appreciate the push to return to the big-boss toy company Nintendo that is willing to mess around with their brands outside of the discs.

That trailer is actually brilliant.

Definitely out of place, but that's actually pretty charming by itself. If it comes out over here, I'll probably use it with Luigi or someone and look fly as fuck.

It is a really good game, with the time that spent on the demo I had a lot of fun.

Toad's Turnpike is fucking amazing. If any stage epitomizes the growth of the series over time, it's that one. And all the other stages do a damn good job of that too, so that's saying a lot.

That was... oddly menacing. Funny as hell, for whatever reason.

Anyway, I'm late to the party, but I picked up my game today. In like an hour I cleared 6 cups, which is cool, but I was just blowing through them on 50cc so I could unlock characters and get a feel for the game.

Unlocked Metal Mario, who I was planning on maining, so that's good. The game feels great so far-- Mt. Wario is currently my favorite, although Toad's Turnpike is indeed awesome.

Oh I fucking love Mt. Wario too. My least favorite stage is Shy Guy Falls, because of a bad experience my first time on it. And I still love that stage too lol

Yeah, Twisted Mansion is pretty sweet. And when I played on Electrodome, even knowing what to expect, somehow I was still blown away. Like, just driving on that surface and leaving a trail, and those steps at the end of the antigrav section. Ah. Yummy.

And yeah, I've been getting the coin SO often. But that really can't be helped grinding on low difficulty. Once I get to normal or hard I'll get more items. Actually, I've gotten more of that one sound item (the one that beats the blue shell) than I've gotten red shells.

I kinda' miss the fake item boxes, though. I think out of any item, I want that to come back the most.

Oh ma gawd

I'm maining Link. That's happening. Dry Bowser is nice, Villager and Isabelle (why does she get so much attention as an Animal Crossing character?) are cool, too.

Tanuki Mario and Cat Peach... eh. There was this huge backlash for taking out some fan favorites and this would've been the perfect chance to add them. Well, whatever.

But hory shet

8 new tracks... each? 16 new tracks brings us to 1.5x what we started with. I see an F-Zero track, a Village track, Wario's Mines (or whatever) from Wii, and a tree stage, which I'm thinking may or may not be the Zelda level. I am so, SO fucking happy with this right now.
