MM3D is so close I can taste it.

Post by DP on Thu Oct 03, 2013 3:03 pm

Last month, Aonuma laughed at IGN asking about MM3D, but did so politely. Yesterday we found out that THE Majora's Mask is in Ravio's shop. We also heard Aonuma explain that the item rental system isn't like Majora's Mask without the interviewer asking.

Come out with it already so I can pre-order the special model!

Oh yeah, for sure. But it's an N64 game, and there's a tendency for those to go on 3DS. That plus OoT being remade for 3DS (allowing the same engine to again be reused for the rebuild of MM) makes a 3DS version more likely.

I know, sadly they would rather waste their time with Wind Waker.

At least they fixed WW, though lol. It's a game I could probably stand now because of the overall faster pace. Although I guess I'll find out once DIDOG does WWHD lol.

Either way, Aonuma has mentioned possible HD upgrades of every 3D (console) Zelda except MM so it's obvious he's shying away from saying the wrong thing and leaking it.

I'm more and more convinced that Lorule is this game's Termina as time goes on.

One month, three days, and over three and a half hours remaining...

You know, I'm beginning to think that since Skyward Sword and Ninty finally gave into the pressure of making a timeline, that they're going to be more inclined in the future to actually give a damn about connecting the installments context-wise, hence DP's prediction of Lorule being the Fallen Timeline's Termina.

Additionally, I noticed Majora's Mask being in Ravio's Shop for like, a week. XD

I wasn't paying attention to LBW until I saw the Mask in the trailer.

It's likely only a cameo, but a great one at that.

I was going to state the engine thing haha! - And I agree! I want a 3DS version so badly!

At this point it's confirmed really. Now it's just how it ties in with Lorule. Which is really making me wanna play this one sooner, but I can deal with waiting 6-8 months to play it on my purple Majora 3DSXL.

And if Nintendo doesn't do one of those I will flip shit. Now they've done it for both other Zelda 3DS games and I think they did one for both PH and ST on the DS. Hell, they've done a unique model for like every Zelda game at this point, ever since OoT.
