I don't freaking know, I just don't want this topic to be nothing but spam, which it pretty much is/has been this whole time.

I hate spam.

But, uh, I think this game is going to be rad. I'm a fan of CoD, so this game, made by Infinity Ward and with similar gameplay (not counting the Titans, obviously) looks fantastic, and if you add robot suits into the mix, it's definitely going to be great! Unfortunately, it's only going to be for the Xboxes? And PC, but I don't think my current laptop is powerful enough to play it.

I'm not a fan of CoD, so that explains it for me lol. Anyway, the game isn't exclusive, the game is only a one-year exclusive for the XOne. Which I wouldn't consider buying an XOne just for this game if people are to get it. It would be better to buy a PS4 now and wait for EA to release it on PS4.

Being exclusive is better for them so they can make launch money on this $60+ million game to be able to port and optimize it for PS4. It's basic developmen logic.

That said, they're specifically designing all the levels to keep pilots close to safety at all times, which should be interesting. Two different mechanics could play well but it could turn out terribly too.

I'm not sure what the logic is, the PS4 is clearly the better developing platform from a developer's stand point.  In the idea of exclusives, they would have been better off signing the contract with Sony.  The system has sold out in more places than the XOne and is so far the most reserved.  At least I'm pretty sure it is, and I have seen the other ones that say, "XOne going to out sale PS4 on release."  In that light I'm pretty positive that they're being payed by Microsoft to only cover this since their change in policy.  Which wouldn't include the pre-orders prior which the PS4 was pre-order over the XOne 9 out of every 10 people.

The logic is the contract was signed when Xbox was clearly the dominant brand. Since the ones reveal that has changed, the contract has not.

Titanfall was shown off at E3 though, when everyone was against the XOne.  Even then, the XOne only stands a chance in the U.S where it's popular.

dood Dont be dumb. with the game in the state its in this was signed a long time ago. 2 years plus at least. So it made a lot of sense at the time. Ps3 was far behind Xbox had the apparent install base. come e3 ea finds out Microsoft managed to fuck it up.

It still makes sense though, but of course it would have be before the PS3 outsold the 360 world wide. Although, they should have checked sales charts and the charts and saw that the PS3 outsold the 360 on a weekly basis.

Its the install base they woulda looked at, the 360s was bigger. Although if they used common sense and factored in red rings...still Its ea. They dont do common sense

That is very true, and I did forget about the install base for a second.
