I have a GameCube, Wii, Wii U, GameBoy Advance SP, DS Lite, 3DS, Xbox, 360, PS2, and PS3. I used to have DSi and a PSP, but I traded in the former for a lower 3DS price and gave the latter to an older cousin. Oh, and I bought an NES that's the redesigned 101 model from one of my best friends.

Out of those though, I have to say that it goes from top to bottom:
Wii
PS3
GameCube
NES
360

Back when the xbox and ps3 were brand new, I was still playing games on last gen consoles (it wasn't until 2009 til I got myself a PS3) and so gamecube, xbox, and ps2 were all very cheap and I was able to play them all along with a good number of exclusives. Its hard to pick what I liked more between those 3

I'll say, and in no particular order so that I may sleep better tonight. . .

Gamecube
This little system had so many fun exclusives. And personally, I had action replay for it, so my fun with the console was lengthened. Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Super Mario Sunshine, and Melee really defined the system for me.

Playstation 2
This system kicked off console gaming for me as a child. Kingdom Hearts and the Sly Cooper series were my first really awesome games. I actually didn't use it much though, and the only other games I owned for it was pretty meh. It just gets credited because it was my entry into the hobby.

Playstation 3
For me, the PS3 was a magical thing that defined what next-gen gaming was. Having only owned a Wii, I was used to a mediocre selection of titles, annoying control schemes (for most games), and an awful online system. When I first got Littlebigplanet the graphics amazed me and so did how easy and instant everything was. Want to play with a friend? You just add them. No friend codes bullshit. The things this console is capable of and the services it provides like PS+ really defined the system for me. It has also has such strong exclusives.

I also owned a Wii, Nintendo 64, and an original Xbox but I wouldn't really pin them on this list.

Super Mario Galaxies, Sonic Colors, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Metroid Prime 3, Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Super Paper Mario, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, No More Heroes, Wario Land: Shake It!!, Punch-Out!!, Little King's Story, Xenoblade, and being the first Nintendo console to have downloadable games from previous consoles. Best console hardware-wise goes to PS3 without a doubt, but when it comes to software and the amount of enjoyment I've had in general goes to the Wii, although the PS3 still has a high standing in that department.

I only owned the games that aren't crossed out for the Wii.  I borrowed Skyward Sword and the level design for the game was great, the best of any Zelda game to date.  Other then that, the controls were terrible.  Why couldn't I just use a normal controller for this game?  No one wants to play a Zelda game built around gimmicks.  That's just my personal take.

Nah, that's a pretty good list. I just tend to remember it badly because I disliked the controller and I was envious of next gen consoles. Those games aren't in my personal taste but it's quite the library of quality titles.

That's fine, Anaconda. It was an awkward transition, but I got used to it quickly. Even found it fun. I am glad however that the Wii U Zelda will most likely go back to being button-based though.

And I can respect that, Shadow. I was envious of other first-party consoles myself, hence why I got a 360 and then a PS3 a few years later. The Wii has an underrated library, but its third-party support was undoubtably weak, and that's not even comparing it to the PS3.

I forgot about Zelda: Wii U, they better not call it that or I'm gonna write an angry letter. Anyway, what I want to see from that is GamePad integration. I want to see that GamePad be used for things like inventory, maps and puzzles. It would be cool if you could have your inventory open in the middle of a boss fight. Then press items to equip or use all while never having to open a pause menu. But, that's probably asking for too much since the Wii U only has a quad-core processor.

Of course it's not going to be called that. XD

And considering how Arkham City for Wii U's already done that with its items, I don't see why Zelda Wii U can't.

They already pulled a fast two on the Super Smash name, so they better not with Zelda. Also, see what I did with the fast two there? That there was a joke ladies and gentle-ponies.

I don't understand the title for Smash. Is it actually going to be called "For Wii U/For 3DS"? Awful. I thought they just did it right now to differentiate the two.

I still think the title for Smash is going to be changed, considering how that was the announcement trailer and it's not like this is the first time its happened for a video game. That's just me. And we have to remember that Sakurai is Sakurai.

I respectfully disagree, the GameCube controller was in horrible taste.  The d-pad was terrible and the second analog was barely usable.  I'm gonna say the Dualshock is the best ever, great d-pad, both analogs are highly usable and it's a remote that will work well with every genre of games.

360 controller was my favorite. Enjoyable set-up, the trigger buttons didn't feel fat and stiff like standard DualShocks, and the analogs had the sexiest surface-padding for my fingers. Yet I haven't played that console for since I beat Sonic Generations. A bit sad.
