From what I heard, you only have one or two characters at launch, and you have to pay for all of the others.  Not sure if that was confirmed or not though.

F2p all characters amount to 60$ 

supposedly solid game though. Arcade cabinates going around bars try find one...lucky.

The best game that Double Helix has produced is Battleship.  The movie spinoff game.  The one that had a three hour campaign.  And no multiplayer.  And was $60.

That doesn't make sense, was the campaign anything special?  If not, then it wasn't worth $60 without multiplayer.

I think it was just one objective rehashed in each chapter/level for the whole campaign if I remember correctly.

you can either buy the game with all the characters or the demo with just jago and but the rest of the characters will cost a bit

I'm still predicting awful balance due to mostly incompetent developers. Making one character balance well, not too hard. Eight, still not bad, but these guys didn't even try to make Battleship good.

DP, it definitely seems that they are trying to balance things out. So far, it seems pretty solid. Some of the characters moves, combos, instinct modes, etc. seems a little OP at first, but each character seems to also have moves set up for those almost impossible situations. 

And those musical combos are super amusing:

that's an ultra combo KIs signature feature. They are massive combos only executeable upon victory. And they are really hard. Think mk fatalities with much more skill,lost pride and salt. 

That said I have seen 75% saburwolf combos.

Yeah. Thing is at low ranks you won't see ultras and for high ranks they allow you to use something called a bluff (not as in baiting its some new mechanic) to drop the ultra. That said if I got the x1 and played this game and got ultraed I'd let it happen. So fun to watch. Like when heihachi wins a game with his lvl 3 with 1 second on the clock. You gotta laugh.

Well, actually, there are a lot of tells for what move your opponent will be doing. It's super fucking hard to get that 100% combo on an actual player because they could just counter out of it easily or jump and the combo will end.
