Secure. Contain. Protect.

Post by Pyro-Hem on Sun Apr 28, 2013 12:59 am

If you've been around the internet long enough, preferably the creepier side, then you've probably come across something called SCP before. That's Secure Contain Protect, also known as the Foundation. The SCP Foundation is a classified... Uh... Foundation and was made to secure and contain anomalies in order protect innocent people around the world. These anomalies are usually codenamed SCP with variable numbers afterword. The SCPs can basically be anything, from a Skeleton Key to The Face In The Window to the Zombie Plague.

Lately I've been reading a lot of the SCP stories in my boredom. Some of them cool, others freaky, and a couple funny. Quite a few of them can be a little disturbing at times though, so I suggest you don't just blindly click on random pages because eventually something will come up that will keep you awake all night long.

Here's a link to the main site: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com

Has all the info you need to understand shit and shit. Also, keep in mind that all of it is fiction. If that stuff really existed then we'd probably all be dead by now...

Anyways, my friends showed me that site a couple of times. Basically had the same experience as DP except I wasn't alone in my laughter and humor lol.

I know there's a cure for the zombie plague. It's SCP-500.

Back on-topic... Are these like creepypastas? Something else?
Can I get a terrible virus from this website?

You most certainly will not get a virus from the site.

Yes, a lot of the SCPs have their own stories on creepypasta and, since there's so many, it will take a while to read about all of the SCPs.

Also, that pencil thing creeps me out... lol
