well, I googled some images of the male version.. maybe the resemblance in the character model would have been to similar to killer croc (except an orange color rather than a dark green)

I still don't know how big the copperhead character is in the batman world lol but either way, after having arkham city take care of a good amount of well known characters
Spoiler:
(penguin, clayface, two face, bane, joker and the side mission characters)
It will be good to have some newer villains to face

Um, see, the difference is that Copperhead wears a giant snake suit. Killer Croc actually looks like a reptile. Beside,s they were just putting in the new version from New 52.

Also, not that I'm complaining (I'm only making a point) there are tons of more villains that haven't been used that are more well-known with Batman. Man-Bat, Firefly, Killer Moth, Lock-Up, Owlman, Ventriloquist, James Gordon Jr, Professor Pyg, Dr. Hurt, Anarky, Clock King, etc. I mean, I'm sure that you won't recognize some of those names, but believe me when I say that picking Copperhead out all of these choices is a bit left-field. Regardless of whether it's the male or female version.

I know its just a suit but when I googled it, different versions of him popped up and a some pics made it seem like he was completely lizard/snake like without having any resemblance to being human

I know exactly what you mean Count. Its the same thing with every other comic book related media. Injustice is a great example. Batgirl I personally think is a meh choice (even if she turned out well in her playstyle) when they had soooooo many other choices. Its just something we have to accept though

Still looks distinguishable to me. I don't remember Killer Croc being orange, having two large fangs, and a snake head. If Iguana and the Lizard could be in the same Spider-Man game, then male Copperhead with or without Killer Croc in a Batman game would be fine by me. Game have similar enemies and bosses all the time, it's not really a big deal.

The only reason I am saying they probably wanted to keep the male version out (aside from wanting a female character besides catwoman) is so there wouldn't be two big scaly villains in the same series.... I am not complaining at all, I am more than welcoming copperhead to the series

God, calm down. We can't have you fall down a rabbit hole of disappointment when the game comes out. Wink

Bad pun attempts aside, I share the same feelings towards Mad Hatter. It's a shame that Riddler won't be appearing again (sorry, late news, I know), but I'm fine with Anarky more or less taking that role.

lol disappointment? with Mad Hatter?? those two words should never belong in the same sentence :D

But seriously Count.. I never knew about him until Arkham City, But i think it is safe to say his little side mission was in my top 5 memorable moments when playing Arkham City. It brought back that same epic feel that the last scarecrow battle brought in the first game (seeing batman freaking out and eating rats was nightmarish for me lol)

I did not know that the Riddler wouldn't be making it to this game but I can see why (3 games in a row with the same mini puzzle idea). I wonder what they will put though to replace the, what, 300 little riddles around the city? that the riddle challenged you with

Maybe by adding the most obvious assassin to the mix:

oh yeah duh, he was pretty spectacular in his final moments (boss battle was done right which is saying something because most of the bosses were eh) He is someone I would want to see return. Bane so far is the only assassin I am a tad bit disappointed with (Bane is in everything batman related these days)

That's true about Bane. But Bane makes sense to be an assassin though, since he pretty much got introduced by hunting down Batman from a foreign land.

Regarding Ra's though, there's no way he's not going to make it in. You can't have eight assassins in one game that are after Batman who aren't Ra's or Talia al Ghul, who are the heads of the League of ASSASSINS. Seriously, it's impossible. Regarding Mad Hatter though, I think that he'll be in a similar position with Joker, wherein he's not one of the assassins but one of the general villains. In which I have no problem with that.

Re: Batman: Arkham Origins

my god, I feel so behind in the story of this game.. So the joker isn't an assassin? He's just going to be there to distract Batman all throughout?

If the assassins aren't the only villains than yeah, I can see mad hatter being a general villain rather than an actual assassin.

Seeing how Talia had had some history with Batman already in Arkham City (thus, making the clan not as hostile as probably when they first met) It would be interesting to see Ra's first encounter with Batman
