i was missing 2, one over by the gold bolt with the Grav Tethers and one on the path with the Gates, half submersed in water......i hate you insomniac.

Just Platinumed DLHD. After I beat Vox on Exterminator I'll have (for the first time) all the exterminator cards. I'm gonna 100% because it's actually really easy to 99 all the weapons.

Okay, beat it. It's obviously no Nexus but I enjoyed it. It has decent pacing, the light/dark mechanic was as well executed as all the reviews said five years ago, and it's just long enough to max each weapon. That said, the buildup for the Slag fight is a bit too long, because he gets the best of Ratchet like three times in very similar ways.

I'd by no means call it a poor man's Jak 1, if only because I enjoyed the world built in this game. Yeah, it's kinda hollow, but after seeing the cut part of CiT shown in the Museum, I longed for something like Hoolefar. Hub worlds are one of my big desires for this series in the future, because I'd really like the sidequests which would be available. That's mostly why I enjoyed the space hubs in CiT. Hell, the pirate theme and hub layout kind of struck a Sly nerve more than Hoolefar did a Jak one. It's by no means a fantastic game, and its difficulty is really artificial at times, but I found a good amount to enjoy. That said, it's still pretty low on the list since it's only 4 hours, has no multiplayer to supplement a short campaign, and isn't Nexus.

It runs fairly well on my phone (but mine is also relatively new). My record is around 467K points right now. I've done less than ten runs though. I'm just glad it feels fair and not pay to win. Paying is for morons in this game, which is perfect for me. Ammo's a bit underpriced so far though (one bolt per shot on the first two guns).

Either way, BtN takes its own spot on the list, below QfB (for now?) but above GM (still waiting to actually get more than seconds into It) and way above SM.

Edit: Make my record 1.6 million. And some notes:
Firing shots takes away ~2K points, sometimes more. Hitting adds 7K (or only adds 5K withour subtracting 2 - I can't tell if they subtract only on missed shots). Multikills seem to multiply the score, couldn't tell by what factor. I think other things lower points too (maybe getting hit, because my final score dropped a bit when I died). All I know is I was at 1.98 million and somehow fell to 1.65 mil (likely for frantically shooting at what was to be my last stand). Score fluctuations definitely seems related to how long you last, so it scales somehow the points you lose.

My biggest tip is to get multis and max out Magnet early. Multis with the Shotgun jumped me from 5K to 120K in one section. And the Magnet pops up much more frequently when at lvl3. Also don't focus on the Progs until you're maxed on a gun. I couldn't beat them with the Shotgun until it was 3 because of the time constraints you have before they disappear.

Um... how do you get Full Frontal Assault Cross Play to work? The invite system doesn't seem to work between me and a friend and he can't find the room I created for multiplayer. What the balls!

So today I remembered about iam8bit's three screen-prints for the Ratchet series, and I got REALLY sad. For anyone that doesn't know, they made 800 total posters, each by hand, based on three designs. The second one I could live without but the first and third beg me to buy them. Problem is, there are only 300 of each available in the world, they sold out during the 10th anniversary in 2012, and not a soul has listed them on eBay, Amazon, you name it. So now I'm really sad, in a way unmatched even by the $2000+ Carbonox statue that I really wish I could own at one point in my life.

Dammit, I wish Gaming Heads would get back to the PSAS statues so I could buy the Ratchet one to fill this hole in my fandom >.>

(Though now that I remember PSAS merch, I remember my less-than-a-dozen PSAS coins and my SuperBot shirts and I feel slightly less sad. I'm gonna go bring those out of the shadows now...)

So we have a remaster of Ratchet 1 due in time for the movie launch. Question is, is it just a remake/remaster, or will it reboot the canon and follow the movie's story? This is a big, currently-unanswered question for the franchise. Given, the reveal was minutes ago, so we may get an answer soon.

I'm just really intrigued by how Dr. Croid will play a role in the new movie. That inclusion was really out of left field when so far we've only seen elements mainly from the original trilogy, or even just R&C1 and Up Your Arsenal barring the Pilot Suit. I do expect this to be answered soon as well though.

Yeah, the Polaris elements really came out of left field.

And I like the A4O theme as the main series theme now. Not sure why (it feels admittedly lazy to throw in a random theme for a themeless series), but it works here.

...I would love it if Ratchet & Clank trading cards were bundled with pre-orders of the movie tie-in game. Just Saiyan.
