The issue isn't "I didn't keep up with the game." The issue is "this blocking system is unreliable for characters like Scorpion."

no the issue "I didn't keep up with the game." is that i don't know what your talking about

also i think i know why your making such a big deal over this. it's because your very much new to these types of systems and you haven't figured them out yet or you just like to push a button.

also one last question if MK9 is the "best fighting game ever made because of a button" then why doesn't injustice have one then?

However, MK only used two punch buttons and two kick buttons to save blocking for the remainder button while SF uses three punch buttons and three kick buttons. Like I said before, If a game is revolved around a block button then of course it would work fine. But just because it is fine doesn't mean that the other method cannot be fine as well just because "it's awkward." It only means your not used to it and/or not in favor of holding back for blocking.
They both have their ups and downs and they compliment the games that they are respectfully from. It's basically Apples and Oranges.

All you need is four attack buttons, six is completely unnecessary. In its simple design is what makes Mortal Kombat better than Street Fighter. Because, it's a hardcore fighting game you can pick up an play and still be master of combos once you master the game. If anything, the block button brings much needed balance to hardcore fighting games.

@paper: Injustice uses the inconsistent blocking, which terribly shows Injustice's questionable balancing. I play as Deathstroke most of the time because it's easy to spam with this horrible blocking system. While it would be much more difficult to spam with Deathstroke if there were a "block button."

no Injustice is bad because of the heavy zoning of the game, this has nothing to do with block it would be just as bad in mk also you REALLY don't know what your talking about so listen.

shut up about the block button i don't care if you like it more than back to block but back to block isn't going anywhere it has been used for years now and is mainly used over block buttons so either you get used to it or you don't play any of those games with it, missing out on most if not all fighting games that will be made with it also i hope you enjoy Scorpion without a block button

It'll suck, also the down vote was because I thought you were some what rude in your reply. Not because I disagreed with you.

I still question MK being the best fighting game out there. But hey, opinions are opinions. I personally find the Grand Finals at EVO for KOF more entertaining to watch than the MK one. But that's just me.

In anycase, enough of that. This is a thread for Skullgirls and not block configs.

I find every game at EVO this year more enjoyable to watch, pick up and play. Just cause I can't....

Also paper heavy zoning =/= bad. Just not as good... Batgirl will help cause A she has a teleport and normal combos not command grabs (fuck you shazam) and b she comes with a patch.

anyway your right Blade. Did they ever reveal the 2 mystery dlc?

Don't forget that we're also getting Big Band when it comes to big bruiser characters.

@Paper, I agree completely with the top 10 choices.

Why guys? You know its a lost cause. A lot of people want this to be pure female. It kinda upsets me that gender is a factor but whatever

Gotta be careful with those Minette fans. As soon as she's out of the list that gives every other character like 80% more of a chance to get in... lol

That doesn't mean I ain't rooting for her as one of my faves...

Minette is pretty big choice but i think annie is prob bigger fan base and she would most likely win this i'm just hoping people who didn't like the final four last time votes for other characters
