Sweet, MT! Tell me what you think of it once you play it. Wink I'm actually about to start playing Infamous 2 on the collection.

Infamous 1 I beat, 2 I only go so far into since I rented it. Since it's like 10$ I'll pick it up again soon lol. Both are excellent games. I can't wait for Second Son though O.O omg

It was in terms of challenge. But as a plot device it was beautiful. John destroyed Cole at the start but after all Cole went through he's finally flipped the tables. he can decimate a being that can EAT A NUKE. So great for character progression. Nix was relatively hard if you can't pin her down. The RFI hurts.

Mtj, you may be better off getting the games separately. Last I heard, the code for FoB stopped working a while back, so you'd be paying more for 1 and 2 than you would all three separately.

I beat Infamous 1, both as Hero and Infamous. I only beat Infamous 2 on Hero and got about 75% of the way through the Infamous karma. Hero just seemed way to easy, whereas I never got around to beating the other karma...

I beat infamous 1 4 times (for trophies 75% cause stunts and blast shards and upgrades.) And 2 3 Times so obviously I did every karma. In 1 evil is easily superior. In 2 its more balanced with evil being great early game and good better late game (due to crowd control almost specifically but there are other points. kuos powers are far better than nixs, Eg ionic freeze is far better than drain.)

Hmph. I'm too lazy to follow through with beating 1 on Evil Karma due to how similar the story and effects are. However, Infamous 2 might prove to make me strive more.

^ Pyro brings a good point up. I am hoping that the difficulty this time around is a little harder (at least for people who play on the harder difficulties). I am hoping that encounters in second son really push the players to mix match their different powers around in order to survive. I know one of the big appeals to the infamous series is to have the player actually feel ultra powerful in the end with all of the different attacks you have but, I am hoping that there is more of a reason to switch around powers rather than infamous 2 which gave you electricity and then a second set of attacks (fire or ice) to help you out.

I want it so there are more fights where different enemies have different weaknesses and weak points so that you are constantly thinking of what you should do next Tongue Sackboy Similar to bioshock infinites 1999 mode (but done a little better) where every shot had to count and every misfire was gonna cost you

I agree there they are easy games. The hardest part is just navigating on hard in 1. Jerkish ai kills me on the blast shard. There were few missions that annoyed me. Mainly the power activation in 2 those were tough.

I thought Infamous 1's difficulty was decent (I played on hard for the first time). I really only get killed at Infamous 2 only because I can't move my aim quickly and get headshocks often. That's just me though.

I 100%d 1 (all shards, beat both karmas), and am I'm the process of doing the same for 2. I just need to beat it on Evil (1/3 there already) and do some UGC missions at a friend's house or something. They're both rreally easy to 100%.

I will admit that there were some difficult parts like the areas, as lpool stated, when you travel in the powerless areas in order to turn the power on being a big one for me and one or two of the "protector" missions (protect the hospital bus that trish is driving" but overall, I would say it was easier than the average game though (not that the game is bad in any way because of this though).

I might just be more accustomed to games where I can plan my attack more before action and soo I am wishing infamous had a similar style. I know I will love it no matter what though :D

1 is more tedious than hard to 100%. I HATE STUNTS!

The Trish bus mission is impossible to do clean but easy cause the checkpoints are really generous.

you hate stunts?... I HATE blast shards -_- it took me forever! I had to stop trying for like a year and come back to it

in all seriousness though, I do love everything about the infamous games. Infamous 1 was one of the very first games I actually pre-ordered because I was so hyped for it. Of course I loved the hell out of it Infamous 2 came out and I died of excitement the very first time I found out doing different stunts would earn me different electrobolts/grenades, missles, force blasts, etc. My god they had improved so much from the first and since I didn't follow along with any previews of the game.. I had no idea that I would be getting any fire/ice powers half way through the game and when I did... I had to go to my happy place lol

The one stunt was impossible (almost) after you beat the game, I remember.

The one thing I want from Second Son is that they add enemy variety. 2 did better in this aspect but it still got boring fighting the same few enemies constantly. Especially when they rammed Titans down your throat at the end.

Titans pop up way too much wish there was more devourers.

It was pretty varied at stages 2 and 3 of the enemy tree but stage 1s were all the same. Fight em all the same way. And since they make up 90% of an encounter...

Enemy variety is a must. A big change for that I hope is more enemy conduits. They were the real threat when it came to enemies. We will still be fighting soldiers as seen in every trailer and screen shot but, I'm wanting to see relentless enemies like the big brute like creatures from prototype (the ones that will chase you across buildings. That would be interesting!

I know that at least from playing 1 that if there are more enemy Conduits, then they themselves need to be more diverse than wither having quake powers or giant garbage colossi.

I hope there's more boss fights like fetch should be a boss but only if you do a certain path. also I predict from the trailer the DUP will sic a lot of conduits on you half way through.

Or Sucker Punch could rip-off Captain America by making super soldier Conduits that fight for good and all that righteous BS. But I'm leaning towards what you're proposing a bit more.

It would possibly be a little cheesy.. lol but what if we had to fight a clone of cole xD obviously I have no idea how he would fit into the story but you gotta admit.. he would make for an interesting battle Drake is not amused

I came up with a zombie Cole, so compared to your idea, it's topnotch. XD You know what would be interesting though? If Kessler returned. I wouldn't have an explanation for it, myself, but SP could pull some time shenanigans to bring him back.
