...I actually watched the director's cut versions in one day. In fact, those are what the links connect to. They're only over three hour long, with Return being four hours actually. XD

And I can say that I can't wait to do the same thing with The Hobbit trilogy in the future. <3

Refer back to this thread once you're done, Trey. Wink

OH DEAR GOD lol! If I wasn't so busy I'd watch all of those now xD

EDIT: So, after seeing the links, my mom and brother (who are huge fans and have read/watched them many times) want to watch them again. Lol. Apparently I'll get started this weekend xD

I didn't read every message on this thread.. and its the first time I am checking it out lol so I don't know if I am super late to the party or anything but.. I just watched the hobbit today. I am not a Lord of the rings fan. I like the movies and the effects are great. I just have never been a huge medieval? (magic, kingdoms, dwarves, etc) kind of guy but this movie is the exception. The writing is amazing but Its just the parts where they stand around talking that gets to me :o

lol anyways, I just wanted to say that, me not even being a LOTR's fan, the hobbit was a great movie. I am sure it will please many fans of the series. From what some people have told me, this movie will be the first movie to actually use every piece of dialog taken from the book and have it in the movie! Thats awesome (except for the long talking parts...)

After watching the 3 original movies, an average person such as myself might assume that the hobbit will be more of the same but they really have made it seem like a new world. It really does feel like a brand new lord of the rings story. My favorite part is the encounter with gollum! Andy serkis is such a good actor
